This topic will be explored under 7 headings:

1) Matter and meaning: two realms of human experience.
2) Meaning and "information": same or different?
3) Meaning in language and meaning in other systems.
4) Meanings and wordings: computing with meaning/wording.
5) Grammatical and lexical meaning: complementary perspectives
6) Commonsense and educational modes of meaning: reconstruing the human
experience
7) Can we expect a coherent model which will represent all the meanings of
"meaning"?
